Everything you need to know about the Lumiq LED Therapy Mask.
Product & technology
LED (Light Emitting Diode) light therapy uses specific wavelengths of light to interact with skin cells at different depths. Different wavelengths penetrate to different layers of the skin and have been studied for various effects. For example, red light wavelengths (620–750nm) have been researched for their role in stimulating fibroblast activity which supports collagen production. Blue light (470–495nm) has been studied for its antibacterial effects. LED therapy does not use UV light and does not damage the skin at therapeutic doses. It has been used in clinical settings for over 30 years.
Red (620–750nm) — Studied for collagen stimulation, anti-aging, and skin firming.
Blue (470–495nm) — Studied for antibacterial action against acne-causing bacteria.
Green — Associated with reducing pigmentation and calming redness.
Yellow — Used for soothing sensitive skin and visible redness.
Purple (Red + Blue) — Combines collagen-targeting and antibacterial properties.
Cyan (Blue + Green) — Combines wavelengths to help calm inflammation.
White — Associated with overall skin renewal and firming.
These descriptions refer to published research on these wavelengths generally. Individual results vary.

LED light therapy at therapeutic doses has a well-studied safety profile. It uses non-ionising light with no UV radiation. The mask's open eye and mouth design ensures light is not directed at sensitive areas.
Do not use if you have photosensitivity, are taking photosensitising medication, are pregnant, have epilepsy, or have a diagnosed skin condition (consult your GP first). If you are unsure, always consult a healthcare professional before use.

We recommend 10–20 minutes per session, 5 or more nights per week. Most customers use it while watching TV or reading — it requires no active effort beyond wearing it. After 8–12 weeks of consistent use, you can reduce to 2–3 sessions per week for maintenance. Consistency is the most important factor.
Results vary by individual and depend on skin type and consistency of use. LED therapy is not an overnight treatment. Some customers notice changes in skin glow and texture within a few weeks of regular use. We do not make specific claims about result timelines as individual responses differ. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
Our product images primarily show the Rose Gold model. The Lumiq mask is available in four variants: New Rose Gold (with box), Rose Gold (no box), Gold (with box), and Gold (no box). These are separate manufacturing models and may differ in physical appearance. However, all variants contain identical LED technology and deliver the same results. This is disclosed on all product pages.
